The Trans Mountain Project will intensify existing threats

Amidst the noise about risk, uncertainty, Kinder Morgan and their Trans Mountain pipeline proposal, we know this: The Trans Mountain Project will intensify existing threats, accelerating the rate of decline of the Southern Resident Population of killer whales (SRKW), possibly leading to complete extinction. We also know that combining reductions in existing vessel noise with increased Chinook salmon availability increases their likelihood of survival. It’s ironic that many appear deaf to the science that clearly points to the likely extinction of a group of individuals that sees the world in sound.
