15 years and Achiever is still going strong

Over the past 15 years, the Achiever has helped to enable the research efforts many groups and performed extensive work ranging from population estimates and data collection of fin whales, killer whale ecotypes, and humpback entanglement probabilities. She has worked to fulfilling research requirements for organizations such as Department of Fisheries and Oceans Cetacean Research Program, Marine Mammal Research Unit of UBC, Institute of Ocean Science, and Simon Fraser University, as well our own research. ⠀

This week Hakaii Institute has just embarked on a trip to conduct oceanography research in Bute and Knight Inlets with our skipper.
