Entirely preventable conflict escalation with bears

Contemplating shared naps on the beach and looking forward to visiting places where bears interactions with humans occur in more peaceful, respectful and less fearful ways.

Bears are not what some have made them to be. Misplaced fears provide cover for conflict management that all too frequently results in the death of animals.

Kudos to those in my neighbourhood working on solutions, the North Shore Black Bear Society.
