Created exclusively for Raincoast, Nikki’s intricate illustration brings together the species and ecosystems at the heart of our work – from endangered Southern Resident killer whales and wild salmon to wolves, marine habitats and our research sailing vessel, Achiever. The artwork was inspired by one of the illustrations in Nikki’s book Old Wood Boat, drawing on her own experiences sailing and snorkeling along the BC coast. The design is printed on ANIAN’s classic Circular Tee, made in Canada from midweight 50% recycled cotton and 50% organic cotton jersey – a sturdy, comfortable and breathable fabric designed for everyday wear. Every purchase directly supports Raincoast’s ongoing efforts to protect and recover endangered Southern Resident killer whales and the interconnected ecosystems they depend on.
