Success in the Kitlope Tenure!

We have great news to share! ⠀

Thanks to your support we have reached our goal of $100,000 for the deposit on the Kitlope tenure – with one day to go! ⠀
⠀
We actually exceeded our goal by over $15,000, every cent of which now goes straight toward the remaining purchase price. Now we need to maintain this momentum as we roll straight into raising the remaining $535,000, which we hope to achieve before the end of this year. It’s a big goal and we’ve done it before, so let’s get creative.⠀

So far we’ve had a grizzly bar from Denman Island Chocolate, a bear bath bomb from Lush Cosmetics, and photography donated by our coastal carnivores photographers, and donations large and small from hundreds of you. ⠀

Last summer Giordano Corlazzoli even ran the whole length of Vancouver Island (500 kilometers). ⠀
⠀
Purchasing the Kitlope tenure will bring us a big step closer to reaching our goal of stopping all trophy hunting in the Great Bear Rainforest. ⠀
