The Pacific Ecology and Evolution Conference is a meeting for young scientists to come together, present their research, share ideas, collaborate, and then get party in nerdy costumes.

Needless to say I really enjoyed presenting my work on bald eagles/salmon, and lived my childhood dreams of being Ms. Frizzle (from the Magic Schoolbus) for a day.

Being surrounded by the beauty of the remote west coast of Vancouver Island topped off an all-time nerdy gathering. Until next year PEEC.
