Black bears, wolves and cougars can still be legally killed as trophies

Animals like black bears, wolves and cougars can still be legally killed as trophies. We currently hold the commercial hunting licences to 33,500 square kilometers of the Great Bear Rainforest. For perspective, it’s an area larger than Vancouver Island.⠀

Our goal is to permanently end commercial trophy hunting of all large carnivores in the Great Bear Rainforest.⠀

Right now we are hoping to secure the rights to the Kitlope Tenure, 5300 square kilometers covering the Kitlope Conservancy and the surrounding area. It’s the largest in intact area of coastal temperate #rainforest remaining in the world. ⠀

How can you help us get there?⠀
