Coastal Insights online education as part of our Salish Sea Emerging Stewards program released its ninth episode today.

With as much coastline as the BC coast has, it is no question that we are unique when it comes to the intertidal zone.

Raincoast educator Nathaniel Glickman and Junior Leader Kloey Douglas go on a deep dive into life in the intertidal. From ecology and iconic species, to cultural importance and personal connections, Raincoast explores what makes BC coastline so special.

Special guest Laura Griffith-Cochrane, the curator of the Ucluelet Aquarium joins the episode to tell us what it is like spending your days speaking to crabs and anemones.
