Raincoast staff Misty watching birds in the Fraser River Estuary

Ensuring the ecological resilience of the Fraser River Estuary

While our research in the Fraser River estuary is focussed on juvenile salmon we also observe a host of other wildlife. The estuary is internationally recognized for its importance to migratory birds as a major stop over on the Pacific Flyway. We are now working with a range of partners to identify ways to ensure the long-term ecological resilience of this place. Sign-up for free updates at our web site.
