The work we do is inseparable from the ocean.
Whether we are researching grizzly bears, coastal wolves, marine mammals, herring, or other species, it is the inlets, passages and channels that allow us access to these wild places. It is the sea that shapes the coast, and we know we cannot work to protect BC’s wildlife without working to protect the ocean.
Here, our research vessel Achiever rests under rays while searching for grizzly bears recently.
