Join us on Tuesday, June 7 anytime between 9:30AM and 2:30PM at S,DÁYES Flycatcher Forest (3600 Sailor Road) to help with ecosystem restoration activities including invasive species removal and ecological monitoring.

United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration launched in 2021 to support ecosystems on every continent and in every ocean. Locally, Make-A Difference week aims to create opportunities for community members on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands to get involved.

This event will happen rain or shine, so dress accordingly. Closed toed shoes are a must! We can provide work gloves, safety glasses, and tools, but if you have your own please bring them along. Snacks and drinking water will be provided.

We will be using a convenient, accessible phone app. called iNaturalist to collect information on the big trees we find.
